Rather, it’s an old card whose ruling has changed to “when Ertai's Familiar phases out or leaves the battlefield, mill three cards,” making it way better than its original printing. The particularity of Ertai's Familiar is that it’s not your usual self-mill enabler. The second is that it generates mana while doing so.
